Mango airlines check-in rules and regulations
Mango Airlines check-in counters can be found in the Domestic Departure Terminal of the airport you are departing from whether it be King Shaka International, Cape Town International or O R Tambo. The preferred check-in time is 2 hours prior to departure. Check-in closes 40 minutes prior to departure. Passengers who arrive later than this will need to make other travel plans.
The Self-Service check-in counters open 12 hours prior to departure and close forty minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. Passengers are also able to check in for their mango flights using online or mobile check-in which opens 24 hours prior to departure and closes 2 hours prior to departure
- The boarding gate closes 30 minutes prior to departure
- Bookings made within 24 hours of departure will not be able to make use of mobile check-in
- Mobile check-in isn’t available for flights departing from George and Bloemfontein, and departing to and from Zanzibar. Passengers are encouraged to use the Mango check-in counters at these airports.
Mango Airlines Check-in Proof Of Identification
At check-in it all passengers are required to provide proof of identification in order to receive their boarding pass. Passengers can use their valid ID, driver’s license or passport as proof of identification. Passengers who have booked and paid for their flights by means of a credit card are obliged to present this card at check-in. If the passenger paid for a group or family using the credit card, only that paying passenger is required to present the card. In the case of children a birth certificate is considered as valid identification.
