Emirates unveils A380 flight deck experience in a 360 video

Emirates the largest global operator of the Airbus A380 has opened up for the world, the cockpit of the Airbus A380 with the first ever 360-video tour, just released.

Be captivated while Captain Thomas Ziarno and First Officer Abdulrahman Mohamed Al Busaeedi afford insight into the extensive flight deck controls of the fabulous Airbus A380, the largest commercial aircraft in the world.

A further highlight for Emirates Airlines is the delivery of its 80th A380 on 21st June 2016 after which it will unveil its daily A380 route to Vienna, its 41st destination that commences on 1st July 2016. With an additional 62 Airbus A380s on order, 21 of these will become part of the Emirates A380 fleet this year.

The airline’s fleet, with an average age of 5.6 years, is one of the youngest fleets in the airline industry. It takes more than 4,000 pilots from virtually 100 nationalities to successfully operate their fleet of 250 wide-bodied aircraft that land at 155 destinations over 81 countries.

The airlines A380 fleet has over 1,400 pilots while 2,500 pilots oversee the Boeing 777 fleet. To operate its expanding fleet, 2016 will see a further 700 pilots hired and Emirates conducting numerous recruitment drives across the globe.
