Shore Excursions

Excursions can be amended or cancelled within 24 hours of the tour departure with no penalty. Guests are provided with experienced and knowledgeable guides ensuring shore trips are filled with discovery and enjoyment. Guests are reminded to be aware at all times of their personal safety and advised not to take valuables, travel alone or outside populated and tourist areas when visiting ports of call. To enjoy a private journey guests can reserve a car in many ports with a tour guide/driver for a full or half day.


Minimum Age

The minimum age for unaccompanied guests that sail from North America is 21 while 18 years is applicable on ships sailing from South America, Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. These age limits are waivered for children onboard Celebrity Cruises with parents or guardians in connecting staterooms, underage married couples and for active duty members of the United States or Canadian military.


Special Needs

The company welcomes special needs guests with every ship having staterooms specifically designed for wheelchair access and guests are assisted when embarking and disembarking. The Guest Special Needs Form must be completed for accommodation to be customised to a specific special need. The company accepts guests with mobility, visual or hearing disabilities and is additionally autism friendly, having achieved Autism Friendly Cruise Line status. Service animals are welcome on board except for ships sailing to the United Kingdom.



Payment can be made online, through a travel agent or sent to Celebrity Cruises. Final payment is due within 75 days for standard departures, while holiday sailing and certain other departures require final payment within 90 days of sailing date.


Online Check-In/Travel Documents

Guests should complete their online check-in within three days of their cruise departure date or alternatively complete it at the pier two hours prior to sailing departure time. Guests must take full responsibility for having all their required travel documentation in order.
