Air Mauritius Baggage Limitations and Regulations

Each cabin class has a certain limit on the amount of baggage that is allowed per passenger. Luggage limitations are set in place to ensure safety when balancing the aircraft weight.

Economy class passengers can check in 2 pieces of luggage weighing no more than 23 kg each. The same applies for Premium economy class.

For business class passengers, the luggage restrictions are slightly different. Passengers can check in 2 pieces of luggage weighing no more than 32 kg each.

All passengers are allowed to carry one piece of hand luggage that weighs no more than 7 kg.

Air Mauritius Check-In Options

Passengers flying with Air Mauritius must check-in to their flight at least 2 hours prior to departure. Airport counters open 3 hours prior to departure and close 1 hour prior to departure. Due to long queues, passengers are encouraged to get to the airport early.

At Cape Town International Airport, the Air Mauritius check-in counters can be found at the upper level of the airport.
